Welcome Library and Information Science mentors and mentees!
The UNT Library and Information Science Student Association is excited to have you participate in our Spring 2016 Mentor Program.
LIS students: Click here to apply now! The UNT LISSA Mentor Program gives you the opportunity for one-on-one time with someone already working in the field of library and information science. You’ll be able to get professional, academic, and personal advice in a stress-free environment. Distance-learners are encouraged to apply–we will do our best to match you with a mentor who is in your area or who will communicate with you by phone, email, or video chat.
LIS professionals: Click here to apply now! This is your chance to influence the next generation of your profession. Mentoring helps you exercise your leadership and communication skills–not to mention the satisfaction you’ll gain from positively impacting a student’s life.
Please use the navigation bars on the top and bottom of the screen to find applications for both mentors and mentees, discussions, our suggested mentoring topics, and our semester schedule.
For additional information please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or contact the program coordinator directly at Holly.Dolan@unt.edu.
